If you are even considering buying this shifter/bushings combo, BUY IT!! The throw is tighter. The rubbery all but vanishes, and even drivability increases. I was skeptical, but the entire setup is better than expected with no noticeable drivetrain noise increase in the cabin. I had it installed by my Subaru dealer with no trouble. Thanks Kartboy!!!! -

Loved this shifter/bushings so much I'm putting it in my third Subaru!! No more rowboating like with the stock shifter, now you get a clean, crisp shift every time. Finish it off with the shift knob and you've got the perfect setup -

I literally just got done installing this combo bushing short shifter kit. And what a difference this made. I didn't want the test drive to end. The throw is completely different than stock in a great way.
My only suggestion is perhaps a how to video for installing the bushings, or made some instructions. Its not hard to do i just had a hard time locating them at first. -

I heard a lot about upgrading my sloppy 2.5i bushings and getting a kartboy short shifter so I decided to give it a go. I did the install myself and it took overall less than 30 minutes at most. Overall great quality of the short shifter lever and all the bushings that it came with. I could not be more satisfied. Myself also being a kart racer at one point; its great to see someone making great quality stuff for everyone's subaru. Thanks Kartboy! -

Decent job at reducing the throw and all, but that aside. Quality is'nt up there. I should have put in the extra dollars and went with TWM. -
